was reported missing Feb. 1 <\/a>after she didn\u2019t show up at a friend\u2019s home in Tucson to watch an online church service. She was last seen the previous night around 9:45 p.m. after having dinner at her daughter Annie Guthrie\u2019s home.<\/p>\nAuthorities have described the case as a possible kidnapping or abduction, but clues have been scarce.<\/p>\n
\u201cTODAY\u201d co-anchor Jenna Bush Hager fought back tears on air as she addressed Savannah Guthrie\u2019s visit to the \u201cTODAY\u201d studio.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe said that she has the intention to return to the show, even though it feels like the hardest thing to do, it\u2019s also her home and where she feels so loved,\u201d Bush Hager said.<\/p>\n
Sheinelle Jones, Bush Hager\u2019s co-host for the third hour of \u201cTODAY,\u201d said \u201cwe\u2019re not out of the storm, but there\u2019s a light somewhere even in the midst of the storm.” <\/p>\n
\u201cI think her coming here and just being able to be with us, and for us to be able to hug her, I think it\u2019s a step,\u201d Jones said.<\/p>\n
Jones said she hugged Savannah Guthrie and told her: \u201cWhenever you are ready, we are here.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Guthrie family is offering a $1 million reward for Guthrie\u2019s recovery. <\/p>\n
In announcing that reward Feb. 24, Savannah Guthrie said that while her family believes her mother \u201ccan come home,\u201d they also \u201cknow that she may be lost\u201d and may \u201calready be gone.\u201d<\/p>\n
The FBI recovered doorbell camera images of an armed and masked man outside Guthrie\u2019s home on the morning of her disappearance. Investigators have since described that person as a suspect, but he has not been publicly identified.<\/p>\n
